Bucket Elevator

The Ferris Wheel (Bucket) Dual Chain Elevator and Feed Escapement shown above was designed and built by STEEL MASTER TRANSFER, INC. for a transmission component. The unit raises parts to the desired elevation for further processing. Parts are carried up the elevator by buckets attached to dual strands of chain. They are stripped from a
lower inlet, carried over the top, and then stripped off the bucket by a higher discharge terminal. Each unit is driven by a constant speed drive, protected with a clutch and can have variable options such as ladders and hoop, platforms, guard switches, etc.
