Automated Seat Container Handling System 

The fully Automated Seat Container Handling System shown above was recently designed and built by STEEL MASTER TRANSFER, INC. The system's inbound and outbound lanes each handle a semi-truck load of containers. There are 17 stacks of 4 containers representing 68 jobs in both the inbound and outbound lanes. The system destacks full containers and restacks empty containers automatically upon demand by operators. The first operator empties the front half of the container and sends it into the powered roll turntable. The second operator then empties out what was the back half of the container and sends the now empty container into the stacker and out the outbound lane for removal by fork truck. This system cycles a fresh container of parts every 45 seconds.
